One problem is that Heart of the Swarm reverts pretty much every character back to the status quo rather quickly and makes all the work you did in Wings of Liberty feel a bit invalidated. Sure, some of the dialogue is downright groan worthy, but it maintains the air of cheesy fun for which StarCraft is known. Jim wants her to drop thoughts of revenge and Kerrigan feels like they can’t move forward together until Emperor Mengsk is dead, and we finally get to see some of the character arcs that began all the way back in the original StarCraft come to fruition. After a series of tests that serve as Heart of the Swarm‘s tutorial, the reunited ex-marshal and Ghost-trained psychic plan to fly off into the sunset together and/or go after Emperor Mengsk, who was responsible for Kerrigan being captured by the zerg in the first place. Spoilers for Wings of Liberty: at the end of the last outing Jim Raynor used an alien artifact to return Sarah Kerrigan to normal, well sans the zerg inspired dreadlock hairdo. I wish it comes with a USB drive like in the Wings Of Liberty – Collector’s Edition rather than this cheapskate mouse pad.The story is compelling and interesting enough to make you constantly want to see more, but Heart of the Swarm does slip up in its story telling a little. StarCraft 2: Heart Of The Swarm PC/Mac Game.Here is what the collector’s edition come with (copy + pasted from Amazon) I heard that in Singapore, some retailers are selling between S$179 to S$199 for the same collector’s edition.
This collector’s edition cost US$79.99 (S$100) and shipping is another US$19.98 (S$25), so in total, I paid US$99.97 (S$125) for it. It got shipped from Amazon 1 day after the official launch and I received it last week, on the 20th March 2013. As I am a collector, I placed my order 5 months ago (on the 15th November 2012) for the StarCraft 2 – Heart Of The Swarm – Collector’s Edition from. StarCraft 2 – Heart Of The Swarm was officially launched on the 12th March 2013. About 2½ years had passed since I gotten my StarCraft 2 – Wings Of Liberty – Collector’s Edition.
