Follow the path just around the corner and a Shitieshou will be sitting down waiting for you.
Head through the lake guarded by mermaids, and on the other side, up a ledge, you'll find a Battle Flag. Just before you head through the large wooden gate, turn right and investigate the area just past the tower with the ladder. Head through the level until you reach part of the village with three wolves on the ground and an archer on a tower looking over them.
